About Alex
Alex grew up in Coffs Harbour and has spent most of his early career spent in well-established practices with brilliant osteopaths in Sydney’s northern beaches. Recently resettling in his hometown after travelling for a few years, he brings his experience practicing osteopathy in a wide variety of cultural contexts to the region.
As an osteopath and lifelong student, Alex's passion is to combine diagnosis and treatment with a view to empower his patients with real changes in pain and function. Patients gain insight into their unique body and deepen their understanding of how it relates to their current circumstances.
Treatment is of course a primary specialty but the point of difference is the belief that ultimately each person is on their own unique healing journey and can always learn so much more about how their body works as well as how they may use movement, breath, exercise and yoga to safely enhance their health and well-being outcomes and movement goals.
He has an interest in treating children, women in pregnancy, babies, headache sufferers, senior care, hands and feet, postural strains, sporting and lifestyle injuries and supporting patient’s pre and post-surgery.
His passion for in surfing, yoga, meditation and cooking what comes from the home garden or the local market keep him out of trouble most of the time =)
